A lot of backyards with a nice patio still feel unfinished. The hardscape is there, the furniture is there - but something is missing. Usually, it's the landscaping around it that ties everything together and makes the space actually feel intentional.

That's exactly what we tackled here. The patio and gazebo were already in place, but the surrounding area needed work. We installed a clean paver border that wraps the entire bed, laid decorative rock in two different colors to create contrast, and planted a mix of trees, grasses, and perennials throughout. The result is a backyard that finally feels complete.

What we love about this kind of landscape installation is how much it does for low-maintenance living. Rock beds mean less mowing around tight edges, less mulch to replace every year, and less time spent fussing with the space overall. The paver border keeps everything contained and looking sharp without constant upkeep.

The planting selection was intentional too. Young trees anchor the corners of the bed, smaller perennials fill in the middle, and the rock provides a clean backdrop that lets the plants stand out. It's a simple formula - but when it's executed well, it makes a huge difference in how a yard looks and feels from every angle.

This is the kind of work we genuinely enjoy doing. Taking a backyard that already has good bones and helping the homeowner finish it out the right way - practical, polished, and built to last.
